When someone login as supervisor–supervisor can’t even see General Supervisor.
Then How Supervisor can delete General Supervisor. I don’t understand.

WRONG! I (generalsupervisor) create supervisor. Then log out. Then log in as supervisor and DELETE my generalsupervisor user (myself).

Then How Supervisor can delete General Supervisor. I don’t understand.

That is very sad.
Because I can see and delete generalsupervisors and that is VERY BAD.

That’s true. A supervisor can delete a general supervisor. BUT the option to delete the primary general supervisor, the one that was created when you set up your repository, is greyed out.

It is possible to login as a supervisor and to see AND to delete all GeneralSupervisors! But it’s not possible to create a GeneralSupervisor. This fact is really interesting (and funny …)!

You may have to modify your group structure in Supervisor so that your individual sup IDs can’t see or modify the gensup ID. It sounds like you don’t have it set up that way right now.

What I have observed in my own environment is the following:

  1. The original General Supervisor user can create other users with General Supervisor privileges.
  2. The non-original General Supervisor users can create other users with General Supervisor privileges.
  3. The non-original General Supervisor users can delete other non-original General Supervisors.
  4. The non-original General Supervisor users can not delete themselves. 5. The non-original General Supervisor users can not delete the original General Supervisor.
  5. No General Supervisor can change the profile of a user to General Supervisor if that user is a member of any group besides the root group.

The General Supervisor needs to be at the highest level. All Supervisors should be in a lower level. This will prevent them from seeing the General Supervisor.
