Perhaps not everybody here know Excel but the feature of “freezing” the first odd columns and having the visible all the time when scrolling in a large report really is neat. Is there something similar in BO?

If you look at the top of the scroll bar on the right had side, you will see a small “handle” that you can click and drag to split the window. There is a similar handle on the very left of the bottom scroll bar.
There is no equlivalent to “freeze” in Excel, but this does give you the "split’ option.
