In a report sometimes I have this error * and I can’t save or edit my report. Can you help me?

See this FAQ…this is trickier when it happens in a particular report…but anyway, see if any of the solutions help.

I think… on my pc I have installed BO5.1 and BO6.5. Ther is a crash between dll?

not, you don’t need to have several BO releases to have crashes. you can mix-up on a same box bo 4.x, 5.x and 6.x because they use separate folders and registry keys.

your protection fault problem is not linked with that

Hi

The problem may not be becasue you have different versions of BO on the same machine, but it could be because of some of the system dlls getting currupted which are being used by BO.

try reinstall bo or/and system or try use on another computer…

Is this a problem on one machine or all machines?

Is this a problem on one report or all reports?

Is this a problem with one user profile on the machine or all user profiles on the machine?

Are you on supported versions?
BO version
OS version
Database version
Middleware version.

BO version 5.1 and 6.5
OS version XP but another machine 2000
Database version Oracle 9.2
