I’m currently using Business Objects 4.1 SP3 Explorer and I have notices that the D drive on the server is filling up quickly and often. After some research I discovered that the issue is with the Exploration Indexes. The ExplorationIdexes folder is 156 of the total 200 gigs on that drive. I have several information spaces being indexed each day, but why are these files so large and is there anything that can be done to reduce the size of the files? Also, should these files automatically delete each day or is there a process I should implement to keep these folders clear. Each of the folders in the attached image are over 50 gigs each.
