Has anyone succeeded in exporting the list of your universe objects in a text file?
I know you can print it, but is there a way to get it in an electronic format?
What you can do is utilize the MANAGERO universe that is supplied on the CD. This universe represents the repository. Then you can create reports to satisfy your needs and email the results or export the results to a text file.
Hope this helps-

Hi Toan,
Create a Bus Obj report from the repository universe (Manager0) as outlined in previous messages. Then you can “Save As Text” or Export the data as you would any other BO report. I recommend doing a search through the list archives, as there is a lot of previous discussion on this same subject. Roger

Any suggestion for those of us not fortunate to have an Oracle-based repository? I have yet to learn of a MANAGERx universe for Informix or Sybase.

I have tried it with SQL Server and basically it works except some objects that have Oracle SQL statements and that I have edited. I think most of the tables names are the same so it is a good start to figure out what it in there.
