Experiencing Slow Performance in WebI

I currently experiencing very slow queries in WebI and WebI Rich Client. However, if I copy the SQL text into SQL Analyzer in SQL Server 2008, the same query returns data quite fast.

• Database is SQL Server 2008 SP1
• Business Objects is version 3.1 SP3.

Anyone have experience with queries running much slower in WebI than in SQL Analyzer?

Webi & Better Performance

Below is from my notes. Couple Questions: what am I missing below? “…Allocating table weights…”: how do I do that, and what are the benefits? “.…Minimizing usage of derived tables….”: What are the benefits?
