Is there anyway to have a stored procedure called, which will set the user profile in oracle, each time a connection is created to the database?

I hope that you get an answer to this as I was trying a while ago to get something like this to work. I was trying to setup user security. You would think that this would be easy to accomplish.

What was your workaround?

We never got it to work. I even opened a ticket with Business Objects support.

What is the stored procedure that you need to run?
Just wondering if the “collective” could suggest a workaround for you.
Only thing I can think of doing is having a report, using the SP set to refresh on opening. Then modify your BO shortcut to include opening the document when launched. Of course, you may need an ON AFTER REFRESH vba script to close it once you’ve refresh and/or to keep it minimized/hidden.
