I am getting the Unhandled Exception error when running a macro from a BO report. I think it is related something to MFC42.DLL.
Environment : BO 5.1.4 Desktop / NT 4.0 SP6a ( Server )
MFC42.DLL version : 6.00.8447.0
Macro : Opens a BO report
Reads values from a txt file for Prompt
Refreshes the report
Saves as PDF
Closes the application
I tried all the options like correct UNV file, RAM, Cleanup registry, upgrade to BO 5.1.7 etc., but I am still getting the error. If I Process 16 reports, this error ouccurs for one or two reports.
There have been various topics on this question, in particular – this one. Usually, if you’ve done a search – it is best to post the followup question in the one that comes closest to your needs – and specify which of the suggestions mentioned in that topic you’ve tried, and what happened.
So did you read that topic? And none of it helped?
Thanks for the feedback. I have tried all the options ( w/ no luck ) except the MFC42.DLL copy option, which I am right now trying with the help of NT team.
