Excel fileon local machine that fetch data from universe

Hi Bo Gurus

Is it possible to have Excel file on local machine that will fetch the data from the BO Universe?

I dont want to run the report and save as Excel . Could you please
suggest any other alternative

Isn’t that what the product ‘Business Query’ is for ?

Assuming you are on v5 / v6, and assuming you purchased the product. In the XI world, Live Office is the equivalent, and is also a separate purchase (unless you have Enterprise Premium).

Another alternative is discussed here … Using BusObj Reporter as a data source for Excel / Access.
