We have our environment installed on Data Services 4.1 SP3 Patch4.
We have a real time job, for which we have created a real time service and added it as a webservice operation.
Recently we moved our repository from one database to another.
The jobs (batch and realtime) were executing fine after the repo migration, until a month ago, the physical server restarted, and then our real time jobs/services aren’t working at all.
We keep getting an error
Error: Real-time service not configured for Web Services.
from the webservice call.
For testing purposes, we created another Access Server running on port 4002 on the same machine.
We then created a real time service bound to the new AS for the same existing RT job, and then tried adding the Real time service to the Web Services.
The addition of the real time to the webservice didn’t give any error, however, it didn’t appear under the list of published operations on the admin console.
We restarted the Real time service, Access Server, Windows services but didn’t help.
We then created another Real time job, and then created a real time service for it under both the Access Servers, added it as a webservice operation (which doesn’t give any error at first), but didn’t get listed down as a Webservice operation in the admin console.
The problem with RT services for both the jobs is that once we add the RT service as a WebService, it doesn’t appear under the list of published operations, and if we try to readd it, we don’t get any list of real time services under any of the Access Servers that can be published as a webservice operation.
Can anyone please help us out?
