Without knowing what BO release are we talking about its difficult to suggest anything.
And Error INF is a generic error, you need to do a search on BOB for countless discussions happened on the same.

Hyder if dont know, be kept quite, see the answer.
After migrating from BusinessObjects 6.x to BusinessObjects Enterprise XI, opening or refreshing Desk Intelligence document with prompts in InfoView causes the following error message to appear:

“(Error: INF)”
The Universe of this Desk Intelligence document has a link to another Universe. The Universe has lost joins that join one table from each linked Universe during the migration process.

If you are not able to ask smart questions how to see the answer
You opened this thread in Businessobjects classic forum with one line “Error INF during refresh” and expect us to guess what release you are on and other details.
You replied about migration from 6.x to XI in your second post.
Anyways not worth it to reply anymore to you, sorry.

Rajun, you should have provided the exact error message and details of your environment in your first post. You are new to BOB, so you did not know, no problem.

Nevertheless, Haider asked a valid question, but your reply:

is quite rude IMHO :?

Haider, do not feel obliged to answer a post.

To all BOBBERs/BOBBERELLAs:
Please help keep BOB friendly! Review this topic for some suggestions, thanks.

As a moderator I am keeping a close watch on this thread.

The reality is that once you get that particular error, you are usually dead. What version of XI are you on? (SP and FixPack).

The migration to XI from old versions was not very good. DeskI reports could get this error. Sometimes, you can migrate again and they work. Most of the time, you’re out of luck and have to rebuild.
