email updates

Hi All,

We are on 6.5.3. Can any one help me to send an email update when report got refreshed in BCA.

You will need to write some custome VBA to make that happen. You’ll find some ideas in BOB’s Downloads to get you started. In particular, you might want to look at this entry.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the quick response. If I understood correctly from the downloads I need to follow the below steps.

1.Install microsoft out look on the BCA server.

But I am not clear about the MAPI installation. Even after installing micorsoft outlook still do I need to instal MAPI? And one more question is there any way can we send an email if it is possible to only send out this email if the numbers are less than 30% off from the last update.
