Consider that there are 10 columns in the report(master report). I wish to make a drill on column 5. If i double click on column 5, it should bring some other report with different format (only 3 columns), but the columns & datas are available in the master report. Is it possible to do in drill mode? or Is it possible by scripting? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank Q.

When I am in drill mode, I usually have a normal arrow and when I = right-click on a cell, I can choose “drill by …”. Sometimes I have the = arrow like a magnifying glass and I can just double-click on a cell to = drill it. Does anyone know when do these situatsions occur?
The double-click is available when you have lower levels of your pre-defined hierarchies still available in the report. For example, if you retrieved Year and Quarter, but are only displaying Year, then the drill will be automatic.
If you only retrieved Year, then you have to tell BO how to drill.
