Doubt regarding alias

Hello Experts at B B

I have recently started working on BO,since few days i have been browsing through some posts and BOB and DAVE RATHBUN’s blog on
contexts and alias.
i could conclude that we should use contexts in cases
where we are having more than one path to reach the same table.
(correct me if i am wrong !!!) i.e. for example
A–C–B
A–E–D–B
But i am still not able to understand a situation where i can use alias to resolve a loop
it would b great if anyone can help me with this.
