Dear All,

I have a very global question;

Is there an easy way to find out which univers objects there are used in the different queries in a report.
And also which variables are created in a specific report and what there description is.

I have looked in different places and also placed a call with Tech support.

What I am looking for is a script, report to see how my report is Build, this without using tools as excel too put my objects in and than click if it is in a report.

HELP HELP HELP Me.

Hi,

I remember long time back (about a year back) some one had developed a utility in BO to do the same thing.

I suggest you search “download” area of this forum and you should get the utility.

There are 3rd party tools available to to what you are trying to do.

Or you could use some of the SDK samples from the BOB library.

I all depends on the level of complexity and detail you need.

There is nothing out of the box from BO. You could get another tool “Metadata Manager” but this is pretty much the only thing it does.
