Documentation: Business Objects Repository?

Can somebody point me in the right direction of where to find the definitions / descriptions of the table columns within the Business Objects Repository please?

I’ve no idea what some of the columns are, or the meaning of the values contained within them.

Any help would be much appreciated

Just a note - the repository structure has competely changed with XI, and is nowhere near as accessible for ad hoc querying.
