DMA0007 error in BCA 61b with DB2 data

Hello,
I am trying to test various pre-existing reports that I have upgraded from 5.1.5 to 6.1b. I want to publish them to Corporate Documents, specifying a scheduled refresh. About 90% of the time these reports fail with the DMA0007 unable to refresh error message. I have been working with BO support and they suggested changing my connection to be hardcoded, rather than using the BOUser/pw. After doing that, the error has changed to (10) Error during BCA Action Execution.

Has anyone else had similar problems? I need to know if this is a bug (rather than something I’m doing wrong) so I can cancel our plans to upgrade if necessary. Thanks!

This is a bug in version 6.1 and 6.1a. Not sure whether it is there in 6.1b or not. You need to apply Patch for this

Yes, I understood that there is such a bug and patch. However, in order to validate that this IS the cause of my problem, support suggested that I change the connection to use a hardcoded id/pw. After doing that, I found that I sometimes succeed (as previously), often fail (as previously) but the error message has changed as indicated below.
