Hi,
I have a report like to show quarter wise orders placed in a chart .
Currently we are having data for the first two quarters only (i.e 2010).
So the chart shows me like Q1,Q2 and the corresponding orders placed in the chart.I need to show Q3 and Q4 also in the chart and show it as 0.
But there are no date values for future analysis. How to show all the quarters of this year and the corresponding orders in the chart.
The chart is a simple bar chart.
Q1- 100
Q2- 200
Q3 - 0
Q4 -0
To be shown in chart.

Hi,
This reporter’s FAQ describes pretty much the same, instead of your quarters, months are described in FAQ:
How can I include data for all months in a crosstab, even if a particular month has no data?
One way to do this is to create a second data provider using only the months. Then link (or “merge”) the second data provider (query) with the first data provider. Use the month column from the second data provider in the cross tab. This should bring in all months even if there were no data for that month. However this technique does not work if you have sections in your report.

If you have a date calendar where these future months/quarters/years are available then I see no problem.

Then create one. Should not be that difficult. And it will be useful not only for this one particular report.
