We currently use BO 5.1.8 and BCA 2.7.4.
We have a slight concern whereby when a BO user leaves our company we are obliged to delete his BO account. However, the problem with this is that any reports that he has uploaded to BCA will fail because his login can no longer be authenticated in the security domain of the repository.
Therefore we would be faced with three possibilities:-
keep the user active even though the person has left the company and the license needs to be re-allocated.
delete the account and all the associated reports and re-upload under an active login
amend the sql in the affected repository table so that the user name can be changed to an active account and thus update the BCA in one fell swoop.
We’d like to go with option three but wouldn’t know the table or the sql script to do this.
