Looking for advice from experts here, we are on 4.2 SP8 and i have just started exploring to 4.3. We have 3 environments, dev,qa, and prod. I have just asked IT to get me a sandbox from the backup of my dev env. What i am looking advice on is, since i took a copy of our existing dev env and everything came over just as how dev was 2 days ago, what negative impact can it have on my dev env? What do i need to change quickly so it does not affect my current dev env? I have these steps to change: Change the name of the cluster that dev belongs to, change the metadata db. The input and output directories are on a network share, so should i leave that alone? What else should i change or modify to not have this new “sandbox” env affect my existing dev.
