Date Objects in Universe

Hi Experts,

I am new to date objects. If someone can help that will be great.

I want to create below date objects at universe level. I am on BI 4.1 using IDT and backend data source is Oracle 11g.

  1. Week to date Object: Want to create this at universe level so that when a user drag this object in webi report filter, the report should run for current week e.g If some one runs the report on Friday, the report should show data from Monday - Thursday of current week.

  2. Previous Week object: Again it should be at universe level and when a user drag this to webi report filters section it should show the previous week data. e.g if a user runs a report on Tuesday but report should run from Monday - Sunday last week.

Will appreciate any help.

you create a predefined condition called current week and then previous week
