[Data Services 4.2] Designer shuts down when using flat file

Hello,

I am using Data Services 4.2 on a Windows 7 PC. When dragging or making a righ-click on a flat file, the Designer shuts down without any message.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?

Are you facing issue while dragging flat file only?
Are anyone using your repository(Reset users may log off your screen)?
Is there any memory issue with the Repo DB. might be sometimes due to memory issue of DB your repo sometimes log off.

I have this issue only with flat files.
There is no one else using the repository…
I looked the repo Db and all is OK

What Service Pack version are you on?

Also, do you have local admin rights under Windows 7?

I am admin on the local machine

Try repairing the Designer installation or reinstalling the Designer?

Finally, I recreated the repo and everything is OK now.
