DAS - problem in running tasks concurrently

Hi all,

In the DAS, we left the number of tasks to be performed concurrently option
as default (i.e. 4 tasks at a time). When two tasks submitted by the same
user start running at the same time one of the task fails by giving the
error ‘The user ‘%s’ cannot connect to the security domain’. In the DAS
Bible, there is no solution given for this (the suggestion being asking the
users to submit tasks at proper time intervals). Though the user is
submitting the tasks to be executed at different times, since we have
enabled the error recovery option, there always be a chance of executing two
tasks submitted by the same user at the same time. The only solution so far
being changing the number of tasks from 4 to 1.

Any other solution for this or any suggestions reg this would be
appreciated…

We hit this brick wall recently. It is evidently a known bug in version
4.1.3, which was fixed in version 4.1.4 + . So, I believe you’ll need to
upgrade to avoid it.

Hi

We have a similiar problem and I contacted Business Objects. It is a bug in Business Objects 4.1 (Our Current Version). The solution is to upgrade to 4.1.4 or higher to fix the problem.
