I just had a quick question, sort of survey like…
What kind of hardware are you all using, webi / full client setups…
We are using about 7 boxes, 5 quad pentiums, 2 duals… Still getting beat pretty bad at peak times… Anyone have a multi-node setup, maybe just throw something out here?
Just curious, we are upgrading, looking for a role model…

We are a little bigger - about 2K users in the security domain, 3 universe domains, 7 document domains, 50ish universes…
Right now we are in the 60-70 concurrent users range, tho… maybe 500ish corp documents, thousands of personal docs…
Lots of refreshes (like early morning around here) can really punish the system, we just cant really tell how far to expand yet…

Can you give more information about your current configuration. Like,
What is the number of users that you have, (Total and Concurrent), How
many reports are loaded in your repository, and How many universes do
you have??
My configuration is 1 Dual (450 MHz Pentium III) and 1 Quad (200 MHz
Pentium Pro) with a user base of 125, 150 reports, and 20 Unverses. We
are getting hit hard constantly (Full client reports make up 99% of our
corporate documents). We can support roughly 10 Concurrent (Refreshing
full Client Reports) Users.
