I tried to search the difference between Crystal Reports VS BO. Some days ago I saw it somewhere in the forums, but now I cannot get it.
Actually, I am trying to know from a mangerial view, at which scenerio I should use BO (WEBI/DESKI) and at which scenerio I should use Crystal Reports.
Here is a easy rule of thumb:
If you want your Company and all its departments including the User community to move toward the future using OLAP technology(at least the best start) than go with Business Objects
If you solely want to just have your IT department develop ‘Canned’ reports that your users will simply view.
i.e. like viewing their paycheck, then use Crystal
