Create BO event when the File is outside BO server

Dear BO experts,

I need to create a BO event, but the file that is deployed to provoke the trigger, is not located in the BO server, but in a SFTP server :frowning:

what do I need to do to enable the BO Server to keep an eye on this external folder?

I assume I need to create a new EventServer…can you help me a little bit with this?

You can certainly create a file event for a file that exists on a different server, as long as you can access it via UNC path.

However, there’s no direct way to use a file in FTP or SFTP as a trigger; you would have to set up a separate process that would regularly do a copy from the FTP location to the local server, then create the file event using the local path.

Aha, I talked about the topic with SAP.

We just need to mount a drive to the SFTP, a link so BO server and SFTP server they communicate each other.
