how variable/s can be copied from one BO file to another BO file and copy of variable should not be formulas ???

There is no utility in BusinessObjects to allow you to copy a variable from one document to another. You would need to do this with VBA. I don’t know of anyone who has written such a routine. But it sounds like a great idea.
Of course, you can copy the formula from a variable, and paste it into the forula definition of a new variable in the destination document. That’s the closest you can get to what you want with the standard functionality.

Actually, this utility includes that functionality. It’s not fancy, and the formula has to be valid in the destination document (meaning, if dependent on data provider objects or other variables, they have to already exist), but it works.
