Copy report for another report

Hi Experts,

My query is as follows,

I need to copy a report or tab(Instruction tab) from a standard deskI report to 250 other reports. I need to copy only that particular tab to 250 other reports. Is it there any other way rather than implementing manually?

I have all the variables I need in my second report, I simply want to copy an entire table (with lots of cells) to another report. I did not see where your utility could help me with that. I’m sure I missed something.

Save your current report as a template. Close the source report. Open the destination report and apply the template you just created. One of the advanced options is whether to copy variables and formulas or just the formatting, you can try either / both to see which works best for you.

Could you please let me know where do we hav an option to save a given report as template in DESKI BO XIR2 ?

Hi Priyanka,

Save the report using File -> Save As menu (or using F12) and select Desktop Intelligence Templates (*.ret) option in the Save As Type combo box.
