Connection problem with 4.1.7

My client company is using Business Objects 4.1.x with the security domain in an Informix database.

I loaded 4.1.7 onto my Windows 95 PC and got the “Cannot access network layer” message. I returned to 4.1.5 and I had no problem.

Anyone have any idea what change was made in 4.1.7 that would cause this problem?

Larry,

Perhaps the Informix client that 4.1.7 is compatible with has changed from 4.1.5 to 4.1.7. Also, make sure the …/informix/bin comes before Business Objects in the path.
