Does anyone have or writen a script or scripts that automaticlly delete users inbox after so many days and cleaning up adn history instance for corp reports. I am running on a Solaris platform.

why not define “limits” for Instance management?

In CMC you can specify how much history you want to reain.
you can do combination such as number of instances to keep, or no of days,. you can set different limits for different user groups.

have a look at CMC > Settings > Limit tab
