Hi forumites,
I have created a report in a universe say named X, but i want that same report to run in universe Y.
The classes and objects are same in Universe X and Y.
Both the universe are in same repository and use the same Key file.
Pls let me know if that is possible.

Easy.
Go into View Data and on the definition tab, change the Universe from X to Y using the browse […] button.

Repointing in the Data Provider works, assuming the Business Object Users using the report has access to the new and/or renamed universe. 
Where I have run into problems is having changed to a newer version of an universe, disabling the older version so the users use the newer one, and then somewhere along the way, the user tries to convertan old report that contains the old universe which is long gone by now.
