I am new to BO world.
I would like to know about cascaded prompt.
What I undertood was we can create prompts in each object.If we are drag and drop attributes from other objects to the query filter pane and if the objects are related through referential integrity,it becomes a cascaded prompt.
am I correct?
My point is that the prompts become cascaded if the objects are related by the underlying table design.

FAQ: Designer is the exact post you should read, but it tells you how to create cascading prompts in older versions of Designer. (In XIr2 the process is built in.)
The concept of a cascading prompt is an inherited selection. So if I prompt for city but first prompt for state, then the state I select should be used to limit the cities that I am presented with.
It has nothing to do with referential integrity as the values selected could, in fact, come from the same table.
