Cannot see some BW fields

Hi Guys,

I have a problem regarding SAP BW… I searched my BW data store and saw the DataStore object. I can see it fine but my problem is I cannot see some fields line phone and name.

I can see this in SAP BW using SAP GUI but not in Data Services.

Any clue?

I believe they are structured columns in BW which would have the individual group of columns for that.
However all those individual columns would have got imported in your Table Structure already

Eg: Name may contain sub columns like
Last Name
First Name
Middle Initial
Name Suffix

I talked to the BW consultant and he said that the missing fields are attributes of field. Say phone is an attribute of customer.

Is there a way to import the main table including the attribute fields?

I don’t know about DataSources, but with InfoSources we actually load the Transfer Structure. So if in BW some of these fields would have been omitted…
