BusinessQuery Problem in Excel

We are having a problem where a user can create a new query using businessquery, but it wont let her edit the query. If she tries to insert the same query, she gets a message box with no text in it at all. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

baytiger, the first thing I’d suggest doing is to go into Supervisor and check that user’s “permissions” for the BusinessQuery module.

Is it possible s/he has Edit Query functionality turned off?

Has the workbook been packed? In the BusinessQuery menu, select Pack/Unpack. If Unpack Workbook is available, select it. You can’t edit queries in packed workbooks.

Does the user have Modify permissions to the directory (and underlying directories) specified in the BusinessQuery File file locations? (See BusinessQuery, Options, File Locations, BusinessQuery Files). BusinessQuery has trouble dealing with external permission problems. The messages you receive are usually ambiguous.
