Business Objects Manuals

Does anyone know the logic behind Business Objects giving only 25 manuals when you buy a license for 50? They expect you to buy the additional copies at $50 each. If I bought single copies of the software I’d get manuals for each one. This policy does not make sense. Any ideas or tips here?

We buy our licenses in smaller quantities…that way each time we make an order, we get enough manuals for each license in the order. It’t probably not the right way to do it, but we get all the manuals that we need.

I’m not interested in printing my own. I was aware of this. Thanks, anyway. ----------

Mike;

All BusinessObjects manuals are in Adobe PDF format on the installation CD in the manuals directory. The Adobe reader is also included in this directory.

The manuals are available in Adobe Portable Document Format on the software cd-rom. You can make them available on your network. Not exactly the same as a paper copy, I understand that, but the information is available.

For old 3.1 info: Penn: Page not found
Search: Mail to listserv@listserv.aol.com, ‘search a_phrase in BUSOB-L’ Unsubscribe: Mail to listserv@listserv.aol.com, ‘unsubscribe BUSOB-L’

A complete set of manuals comes on-line on the CD. I think not everyone really needs a printed copy…
