Business Object RDTs

Hi,

Business Objects has developed some RDTs for Baan. In these RDTs each object has common suffix 300, basically, these RDTs are for the Baan logical company 300.

Is there a way where we can change/replace all the objects suffix or export the objects into some format file, do the necessary changes in objects and re-import these objects. It would very tedious if one has to do the manually.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

All the object names are stored in Universe domain tables. First you export your universe to Repository.

Go to UNV_OBJECT table in your universe domain. This table has a field called OBJ_NAME. This is what you have to change. Then you can import the universe.

Be cautious!!! Manipulating the tables of the repository can ‘void your warranty’.
