I currently have a number of files that are in EXCEL format. I need to bring them into Business Objects and then manipulate them. Part of the file contains years, and zip code. For 1 of the 13 files it comes in as a numeric and for the other 12 they come in as chartacters. I need to like on the year and on the Zip code, but because of this difference they will not link. I have changed them to dimensions in the data cube and it says they are linked, but I can not get data for the one file( The other 12 work fine). In all files the zip is formated as text. Any help would be appreciated.
