BRAINSTORMING - How do you justify the cost of a BO

Although B.O. has its good points the one bad point I have to say is to use B.O. as a DSS. That is, unless your application is very small and very simple. B.O. is great as an adhoc tool or for batch processing but it demands to much out of its environment resulting in a performance nightmare.

Some folks from B.O. (or B.O. gurus would agree as well)

We are a reseller and CCP of the product and I do these demonstrations regularly…I always adapt based on the audience and their technical understanding…Perhaps you should have a reseller come do this for you if it is internal?? You can contact me at my e-mail if you would like a reseller or so that we can discuss your users understanding and perhaps I can give you some help…hard to know what you’ve already covered and where your Company currently is (the biggest part of what kind of presentation to give is what your current state is)…Tracy…
