Does anyone know if the BOMAIN.KEY contains who owns the repository? Maybe the better question would be, does the key keep track of who created the repository? We have noticed the following in the connection/client dislpay of Oracle SQL Services Manager for our repository. Whenever anyone
connects to the repository (through designer or business objects) the connectionshows up in sqlservices as being connected to the repository (a good
thing), but it shows up with the incorrect username (not so desireable). Oddly the
address of the node is correct. Any thoughts?

The BOMAIN.KEY file contains the connection to the repository which has the info about the username/password that was used to create the repository. There is only one way that I know how to see this info.
In Supervisor, go to Tools->Connections
There is a column in this window called ‘Connection’. Expand this window. Look at the row representing the Security Domain. This is the same info that is contained in the BOMAIN.KEY file.
Thanks for the reply. This helped us out. I was able to change the creator of the
repository and recreate the BOMain.key. We’ll see how it goes from here. Thanks again. Ger
My mistake. You should try looking for the ‘Connection’ column under ‘Tools->Repositories’ option in Supervisor
I tried walking through you directions and when I go to Tools–>
connections
I do not see a Connection column. I have the following columns: Name, type, Network Layer, DBMS engine. I am currently using version 4.11. What version of BO are you using?
