BO6.5 - Prompting on data levels (location) PLEASE HELP

Hi,

Here’s an example, I have 3 levels of locations. Country - State - City.

I need to find a way to prompt on them in a hierarchical fashion. Drill to State, city. However, I want to be able to choose any location from any level and business objects has to understand this is level 1 , and here’s the value.

Is there ANY way to accomplish this in BO6.5. I don’t care how hard, I just need to find a way.

Hey have tried this setting in the scope of analysis. Where you can give the hierarchy level which should come when.

I think maybe you’re not really talking about drilling. Are you instead perhaps talking about what we call cascading prompts? If so, such prompts need to be set up in the universe – take a look at this entry from our FAQ: Designer.
