BO report restricted based on Excel having 1500 rows

I have an Excel sheet with 1500 student IDs

Corporate database have data of 1,000,000 students

Now I want to create a BO report with Universe as data provider and fetch data only for 1500 students from Excel.

I first created a data provider using Excel and got all 1500 students in my report.
I created another Data provider on universe and created a condition where In list .

This scenario works only if the number of student ids in Excel is 880 or less. If I include more IDs in excel, the BO report returns an error.

Is there another way to restrict the BO report based on data in Excel sheet?
