BO 4.2 -Significant perf difference between Rich/Thin Client

I am hoping perhaps some pointers could be given here:

Environment:

BO 4.2 SP3 Update 10 (single cluster)

Essentially reports running in the Webi Rich Client run quickly (10-60 seconds). The same reports either viewed or scheduled via the BI Launchpad take in excess of 10 minutes to run. (The report source is a single universe built in the Universe Design Tool connected to SQL Server 2012)

At the time of running the report, the BO server is under minimum load with no users connected. Rebooting the WIReportServer temporarily resolves the issue for a few hours.

Note: This is a low load environment.

Are you running the rich client from the server?
