BCA sending multiple emails, without a reason

Hi All,

I searched in BOB and could not get an answer.

I have a FC report which was scheduled to refresh daily in BCA around 6 months ago.
It has a macro which sends an email.

All of a sudden, it is now sending out around 6-8 emails every day and the Users are complaining that they are being bombarded with too many mails.

We are using BCA 5.5.6 and BO FC 5.1.6

Ran into this problem too!
There might be a problem with an Action step after the email macro step which causes the report to fail (but not until after sending the email). The BCA retries (to the defaulted 5x) and that might be the reason why it sends out multiple times.

Actually, I’d put it in the BeforeClose event and not AfterRefresh.
