I have several reports in BO 4.1 that I’d like to automate. Specifically, I’d like to be able to load, refresh, save and export (to ASCII) these reports via macro. We don’t have the Scheduler available yet, but I can set up the reports to run with Win 95’s Scheduler. However, I don’t seem to be able to create a macro that will run on startup and do the things I want to do I listed above.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Report Script (or VB) can be used to write a front end that can, in turn, be easily automated.
Examples of applications can be found on the distribution CD.

I just posed this question to BO tech support and you could also execute scripts from a command line if you are not able to use DocAgent using the -script parameter on the command argument.
