Apply Filter on Block based on Prompt Value

Hi,

I have a table with data as below:

EMPID, EMPNAME, EMPSTATUS
111.Ashsih,Permanent
222,Dinesh,Contracter
333,Smita,Temporary

User wants a Prompt which has values as P,C,T

If user selects P then report should show data of Permanent in table,
If user selects C then report should show data of Contracter in table,
If user selects T then report should show data of Temporary in table

Please note that values P,C,T are not available in database. User just want to see the prompt values as P,C & T
