All data not showing when variable is added.

I made a report that shows a list of records and everything showed up just fine. Then I wanted to add another variable that does not always have data in it. The problem is that when the new variable is added, the whole report only shows records that have data in that new variable when I want to see all of them regardless if there is data or not.

Does anybody have a solution?

Hi did you try searching in this board regarding this. You have plenty of posts for this. Try using additional data provider(text file of excel whcih contains all the values for the “New Variable”) and link them. Check these posts it might be helpful.

I suspect you are asking a question about a particular reporting tool. You will get better answers if you tell us which tool and which version – and we move this topic to the correct “Building Reports” sub-forum.
