I need a quick answer please. Is there a way to disable “Freehand SQL” in Objects if so, is it in Supervisor? We want to prevent users from accessing data by creating their own freehand SQL.
Thanks,

If you go into supervisor and click on the user or group and then double click on the Business Objects module you can disable the Use Freehand SQL function.
Yes, it is in supervisor - for webi, I think it is called edit freehand sql…

In supervisor select the user or group you wish to disable the “Edit Freehand SQL” option by single clicking the left mouse button and then in the CONFIGURATION panel on the right hand pane right click on BUSINESS OBJECTS and select properties. You will find the option you wish to disable in this list and you can disable it by selecting said option and changing the status in the drop down box below it. —
