I have small query regarding the BO administrative tools.
We are using Client Server version BO 5.1.6 in our server,
Qn 1. Is it possible to track user informations (like User login time, logout time, last logged in time), When the user connects to the BO Server through the client version BO. ?
Qn 2. Or is it possible through any other method to meet our requirements ?
Qn 3. Is it possible to implement this through any other Business onjects 6.5.x version .?
Does this mean that you use either Infoview/WebI and/or ZABO? If yes then explore the possibilities to turn on the auditing (I think it exists in BO 5.1.6).

I used 5.1.8 at my previous job and it has a module called Auditor. It will provide you all the information you need after you set up the audit universe like managerO.
Now, I have not used 5.1.6, so I can’t tell you if Auditor is available for that version or not. But a simple check can find that out.
By the way, if you are upgrading, do not upgrade to 6.5.x because it will be obsolete soon. Instead, you should upgrade to XI R2. However, in XI R2, the auditing function is not as good as it was. I heard that they are bringing back Auditor in XI R3. If you can wait, this will be the version you want to upgrade to.
First of all, the audit universe works just like any other universe. You export it to the system by using Designer.
BOMain is the name of a key that holds the connection information to the domain. Supervisor can be referred to the administration tool or the role of the administrator.

Sorry for posting under some other topic. because I thought that those topics might be viewed by different set of persons. So I might find different way to solve the problem.
I have tried with WebI Admin tool.
In that the current option to log the user details is set to log into the log file. But It seems that it is not logging the user activity details. The other logging of system activities works fine with this option itself.
We tried to change the option to log to Database option. It mentioned that there is no repository to log the user details into the database.
Now I need to know that, Why It is not logging into the log file…?
How to enable the repository for the logger (BO Manager) to the log the details. This is our requirement . We need to log the user details.
Can any one you please respond to this ASAP.
