Hi All!
I need help creating a trend analysis report. The purpose of this report is to depict the number of registrations over time.
The user will enter the following parameters into prompts:
Date Range (low) - Date picker
Date Range (high) - Date picker
Time Period - Single select
It will be a basic line chart with # of registrations on the Y axis and Time Period (user entered parameter) on the X axis.
My problem is with the Time Period parameter. The user needs to be able to select Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly time periods, and the dates that fall in the Date range will be displayed across the X axis in the selected Time Period intervals.
I’m entirely new to Business Objects, so I do not know how create the Time Period selection prompt or take the resulting time period dimension to display the graph properly.
If you can provide any input or direction to help me in any part of accomplishing this - i will be very indebted to you.
