internationalisation of universe

Hi,
I am starting to build my first BO application. The request is that the application is internationalized, meaning an English speaking persons sees names of classes and objects in English, a French/German/Spanish speaking person his languange. Now I do not want to customize several universes but think of having a master universe and a process/algorithm… to translate. Best if there is somewhere a data dictionary that contains names for all languages and BO looks up OS preferences and presents data correspondingly. Has anyone experince/advice?

Hope I understood your question correctly. You can place prompts in the WHERE clause of objects within DesignerÆ. Be sure to copy and paste the clause. When a person runs a report that has multiple prompts of the exact same clause, it will only appear once in the dialog box. The ‘fun’ part is deciding which objects need the prompt.

If you search the archives, I believe that there was a good discussion on this topic several months ago. The instructions for searching the archives are at the bottom of every post to the list.

I have never had to do this myself, so I can’t offer any immediate advice.
